I appreciate this story so much that I started off the Vox blog with it. Hope you like “Stumpy” by Ze Frank as much as I did then and now.
-Ze had this nifty social experiment, which took off bigger than I think he’d ever have hoped it would. Maybe he knew it would, being a Professor and all. I was a part of it, a little duckie in the pond–didn’t go by MT then. Anyway, I used it less for social networking (like I do with everything, much to my detriment) and more for creativity, which is another kind of networking. Hard to believe it was “that long ago.”
That was just so… Awesome… Seriously. Sounds like some of the stories I’ve made up for my daughter. LOLOL
Glad you liked it! It was a great project to be a part of (not Stumpy but the whole Ze Frank / Pond thing). Perhaps what made it so good was that it was meant to only last so long. It made you feel like you couldn’t put it off.
