Last night’s sky

I enjoyed the lovely changing skies last night. Clouds shifted (as they do) while the sun set (as it will) for the hour-plus of my commute home. Normally, being in my car, the views were obstructed by traffic lights and light poles (can’t easily drive and take photos!) but I was able to angle upwards well a few times, shooting over or between modern technology.

      ‘at traffic lights’ = STOPPED

That’s why I commented you can’t easily drive and take photos, so I take them at the lights. Make sense now?

      But thanks.

Taken without focus at a stop light through a dirty windscreen, no less! It was glorious in reality. The shots kinda give an idea. Thank you!

Like snappies of the Grand Canyon, you can’t capture how immense it was. The whole sky was full if this pattern! It was pink and violet to the east and turned orange and yellow to the west. It was superb. Thanks!

Thanks! With this being through the windscreen and without using a viewfinder, it sort of shows the formation:)

  1. What great patterns & colours you’ve captured. There’s little light to the sky when I leave the office now and I don’t like it at all – I like to see the sun go down on a day.

Me, too! I drive into the sun AM & PM, depending on time of year. I get out at 1600, so these are almost all taken within moments of leaving my job.
